Accounting Clerk position available with growing, mid-sized technology and government contracting firm. This position is responsible for processing all accounts payable functions as well assisting with a variety of administrative and clerical accounting functions. The Accounting Clerk works in the Accounting department reporting to the Controller.

Duties:

  • Enter all accounts payable vouchers into ERP system
  • Coordinate and manage approvals of all vouchers throughout organization
  • Maintain organized files of all open and paid vouchers
  • Audit and process employee expense reports
  • Research and resolve all inquiries related to accounts payable
  • Add and maintain vendor information in ERP system
  • Preparation of client invoices
  • Assist in 1099 preparation 

Job Requirements: 

  • Minimum 2 years related experience, government contracting experience a plus
  • Detail-oriented and able to process a high volume of transactions accurately
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint, and/or other accounting/ERP systems a plus
  • Strong PC knowledge (especially Microsoft Office)
